IDP camps
IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) camps are designated areas within a country where people who have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict, violence, or disasters stay temporarily. Unlike refugees, IDPs remain inside their own country's borders and often lack permanent shelter, security, and access to basic services. These camps aim to provide safety and essential needs, but living conditions can vary widely, and prolonged stays may lead to ongoing challenges. The goal is usually to support IDPs until they can return home or resettle elsewhere.
