Idle No More Movement

The Idle No More Movement is a grassroots movement that began in 2012, led primarily by Indigenous peoples in Canada. It advocates for the rights of Indigenous communities, environmental protection, and the recognition of sovereignty. The movement arose in response to government policies perceived as neglecting Indigenous rights and undermining treaties, especially around resource development.
