Idealist Metaphysics
Idealist metaphysics is the philosophical view that reality fundamentally consists of the mind or consciousness rather than physical matter. According to this perspective, everything we experience — objects, events, and the external world — is ultimately dependent on or shaped by mental phenomena. In essence, reality is rooted in ideas, thoughts, or perceptions, and the material world is either a manifestation of these mental realities or secondary to them. Idealism emphasizes the importance of the mind in constructing and understanding reality, challenging the notion that the physical world exists independently of consciousness.
