ICSID Awards

ICSID Awards are official decisions made by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) in cases where an investor and a host country disagree over investments. When a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, ICSID facilitates a formal arbitration process, and its ruling—known as an award—determines whether the investor is entitled to compensation or other remedies.
