ICSI technique

ICSI, or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, is a laboratory procedure used to help fertilize an egg in cases of male infertility. It involves directly injecting a single sperm into an egg using a fine glass needle under a microscope. This precise method increases the chances of fertilization when sperm quality or quantity is limited. The fertilized egg is then monitored and, if healthy, transferred to the woman's uterus to achieve pregnancy. ICSI is commonly used in conjunction with in vitro fertilization (IVF) to enhance reproductive success.
