ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR
The ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, part of the International Chamber of Commerce, develops rules and guidelines to help resolve international commercial disputes efficiently. It promotes arbitration (a private, agreement-based process to settle disagreements outside courts) and other Alternative Dispute Resolution methods (such as mediation). Its goal is to ensure fair, transparent, and effective resolution of business conflicts across borders, supporting companies and organizations in maintaining stable international trade relationships. The commission also provides guidance, conducts research, and updates procedures to adapt to evolving global commercial needs.
