Ibrahim al-Jaafari

Ibrahim al-Jaafari is an Iraqi politician who served as the Prime Minister of Iraq from 2005 to 2006. He is a member of the Dawa Party and played a key role in Iraq's post-2003 governance transition following the fall of Saddam Hussein. His leadership focused on rebuilding Iraq’s institutions and promoting national unity amid sectarian tensions. Al-Jaafari is also known for his diplomatic background and efforts to stabilize Iraq during a challenging period of political and security upheaval after the invasion.
