Hypospadias and Intersex Conditions

Hypospadias is a congenital condition where the opening of the urethra, the tube that carries urine from the bladder, is located on the underside of the penis instead of at the tip. This can lead to challenges with urination and may require surgical correction. Intersex conditions refer to a variety of situations in which an individual's reproductive or sexual anatomy does not fit typical definitions of male or female. This can involve differences in chromosomes, hormones, or physical traits. Intersex variations are natural and highlight the diversity of human biology beyond the binary understanding of sex.
