Hypospadias
Hypospadias is a birth condition where the opening of the urethra, the tube through which urine exits the body, is located on the underside of the penis instead of at the tip. This can vary in severity, with the opening positioned near the head or closer to the base. It may be accompanied by an downward curve of the penis and sometimes affects the ability to urinate or have children. Hypospadias is usually diagnosed at birth and can be corrected with surgery, often during infancy or early childhood, to improve function and appearance.
