Hylomorphic dualism

Hylomorphic dualism is a philosophy that sees humans as composed of two interconnected realities: "hyle" (matter or physical substance) and "morphe" (form or the organizing principle that gives shape and purpose). It suggests that our bodies and minds are unified through this form, which shapes our physical substance into a conscious, functioning person. Unlike dualism that treats mind and body as separate, hylomorphic dualism emphasizes their unity, with the form (mind or soul) informing and organizing the physical matter into a human being capable of thought, sensation, and action.
