Hydrogen (element)

Hydrogen is the simplest and most abundant element in the universe, consisting of just one proton and one electron. It is a colorless, odorless gas that fuels stars, including our Sun. On Earth, hydrogen is used in industry, such as in producing ammonia for fertilizers and refining petroleum. When combined with oxygen, it forms water (H₂O). Hydrogen can be produced from water or hydrocarbons and is considered a clean energy source because its combustion produces only water. Due to its high energy content per weight, hydrogen holds promise for sustainable energy and transportation applications.
