Human Intelligence Quotient

Human Intelligence Quotient (IQ) is a standardized measure designed to assess a person’s cognitive abilities in areas such as reasoning, problem-solving, memory, and understanding. It results from tests that compare an individual's performance to the average performance of their age group. An IQ score around 100 is considered average. Higher scores suggest stronger analytical and problem-solving skills, while lower scores may indicate challenges in certain cognitive areas. IQ provides a useful, but not comprehensive, snapshot of intellectual functioning and should be understood as one aspect of a person's abilities rather than a definitive measure of overall intelligence.
