Human Brain Organoid
A human brain organoid is a small, simplified version of the human brain created in a laboratory. It starts from stem cells, which can develop into various brain cells, and grows in special conditions to form a miniature, three-dimensional structure resembling parts of the human brain. These organoids help scientists study early brain development, understand neurological diseases, and test new treatments, offering valuable insights without needing a full-sized brain. While they mimic some brain functions, they are still very basic and lack the complex connections of an actual human brain.
