HUD-VASH
HUD-VASH (Housing and Urban Development-Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing) is a program that combines housing assistance from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development with clinical support from the Department of Veterans Affairs. It aims to help formerly homeless veterans secure and maintain stable housing while providing access to mental health, substance abuse treatment, and other supportive services. The program recognizes that stable housing is a critical foundation for veterans’ recovery and well-being, offering personalized support to promote independence and improve their quality of life.
