HTTP protocol
HTTP, or Hypertext Transfer Protocol, is the foundation of data communication on the web. It enables browsers and servers to communicate, allowing us to view websites. When you enter a URL, your browser sends an HTTP request to the server hosting the site. The server then responds with the requested resources, like HTML pages, images, or videos, using standard HTTP messages. This process facilitates the transfer of information and helps ensure that the web is accessible and interactive. Nowadays, HTTPS, the secure version of HTTP, adds encryption for safer data exchange.
