HSL color model
The HSL color model represents colors through three components: Hue, Saturation, and Lightness. Hue describes the color type (like red, blue, or yellow) and is measured in degrees around a color wheel. Saturation indicates how vivid or pure a color is, ranging from gray to fully vibrant. Lightness controls the brightness, from black to white. Think of HSL as a way to describe colors based on their shade, intensity, and brightness, making it intuitive for adjusting and selecting colors in design and digital graphics.
