Hoverboard

A hoverboard is a two-wheeled personal transportation device that uses electronic sensors and motors to balance and move. It operates through a combination of gyroscopic technology and motorized wheels, which respond to the rider’s shifts in weight—leaning forward accelerates, while leaning back slows or stops. Despite its name, it doesn't hover above the ground but instead glides smoothly close to the surface. Typically battery-powered, hoverboards are designed for short-distance travel and recreational use, requiring balance and coordination but offering an accessible, eco-friendly alternative to walking or riding other small vehicles.
