Host-to-host communication

Host-to-host communication refers to the process where two computers (hosts) exchange information over a network. Each host has a unique address, allowing them to identify and locate each other. When one computer wants to send data to another, it breaks the information into smaller packets, addresses them correctly, and transmits them through various network devices. The receiving computer then reassembles the packets to understand the message. This process enables activities like browsing the internet, sending emails, or sharing files, ensuring devices can communicate efficiently and accurately across networks.
