Homozygous Dominant
Homozygous dominant refers to a person who has two copies of a dominant gene for a specific trait. Genes come in pairs, inherited from each parent. A dominant gene means that its trait will show even if only one copy is present, but when someone is homozygous dominant, they have two copies of that dominant gene. For example, if "A" is a dominant gene for a trait, a homozygous dominant individual would have the "AA" genotype. This ensures the dominant trait will always be expressed in their appearance or characteristics.
