Homes and Communities Agency
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) was a UK government organization responsible for funding and regulating affordable housing, regeneration, and community development. It aimed to improve living conditions, support new housing development, and promote sustainable communities. The HCA worked with local authorities, developers, and other partners to ensure that affordable, quality homes were available and that neighborhoods grew in a balanced, inclusive way. In 2018, the HCA was replaced by Homes England, which now carries out similar functions to support housing growth across England.
