Holy Synod of Greece

The Holy Synod of Greece is the highest governing body of the Greek Orthodox Church in Greece. Composed of senior bishops and hierarchs, it makes important decisions on church doctrine, policies, and administration. The Synod operates under the authority of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople, with the Bishop of Athens serving as its president.
