Holy Spirit (theology)

The Holy Spirit, in Christian theology, is the third person of the Trinity—alongside God the Father and Jesus Christ. It is understood as God's active presence in the world, guiding, inspiring, and empowering believers. The Holy Spirit helps people understand spiritual truth, fosters moral growth, and enables them to live according to God's will. It is often seen as a comforter and advocate, working quietly within individuals to cultivate faith, love, and hope. In essence, the Holy Spirit is God's ongoing presence, transforming lives and community from within.
