holographic storage

Holographic storage is a technology that saves data throughout the entire volume of a medium, like a special glass or film, using laser light. Multiple data images, or "holograms," are recorded at different angles or depths, allowing large amounts of information to be stored in a compact space. When you want to retrieve the data, a laser reconstructs the hologram, revealing the stored information all at once, making access faster and capacity much higher than traditional disk storage. This method promises faster data transfer and greater storage density for future data needs.
