Holocaust (Shoah)

The Holocaust, or Shoah, was the systematic, state-sponsored persecution and genocide of six million Jews by Nazi Germany during World War II (1939-1945). The Nazis aimed to eliminate Jews and other minorities, establishing ghettos, Auschwitz and other extermination camps where millions were murdered through mass shootings, gas chambers, and forced labor. This atrocity was driven by racist ideology, hatred, and totalitarian power, resulting in one of history's most devastating crimes against humanity. The Holocaust is a stark reminder of the dangers of intolerance and unchecked hatred.
