HMS Ark Royal

HMS Ark Royal was a British aircraft carrier, a large warship designed to operate airplanes at sea. Launched in 1955, she served the Royal Navy for several decades, playing a key role in projecting air power, conducting naval operations, and supporting military missions globally. The ship could carry a fleet of fighter jets, helicopters, and support aircraft, acting as a floating airbase.
