HMAS Onslow
HMAS Onslow (S 126) was an Australian scheduled submarine, part of the Collins class, designed for stealth and underwater operations. Built to patrol and gather intelligence, it could stay submerged for extended periods and was equipped with advanced sonar and missile systems. Launched in 1993, it played a key role in Australia's naval defenses, conducting exercises, surveillance, and regional security missions. The submarine was decommissioned in 2022 after nearly three decades of service, marking the end of its operational contributions to Australia's maritime security.
