They owned popular shows like "Shrek the Halls," "Thomas & Friends," and "Barney & Friends," distributing them across TV channels, home video, and merchandise worldwide. In 2012, Hit Entertainment was acquired by Hasbro, a major toy and entertainment firm, and later became part of Mattel after their acquisition of Hasbro’s entertainment assets.
