Historical resistance movements
Historical resistance movements are organized efforts by groups or individuals to oppose or challenge oppressive governments, policies, or injustices. These movements often arise when people seek to defend their rights, freedoms, or cultural identities against control or exploitation. They can take many forms, including protests, rebellions, civil disobedience, or armed conflict. Resistance movements have played key roles in shaping history, leading to social or political change, independence, and the reform of unjust systems. Examples include the French Resistance during World War II and African independence struggles in the 20th century.
