A Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) is a college or university in the United States that has a significant Hispanic student population, typically at least 25% Hispanic students. These institutions focus on supporting Hispanic students through tailored academic programs, resources, and cultural initiatives to enhance educational access and success. Many HSIs also aim to promote research and community engagement that benefits Hispanic communities.
