Hiranyakashipu
Hiranyakashipu is a figure from Hindu mythology, known as a powerful demon king who sought immortality and dominance. Born as a demon (asura), he gained boons from Lord Brahma that made him nearly invincible—no creature could kill him inside or outside, during day or night, on land or in the sky. His main obsession was eradicating Lord Vishnu, who he feared would challenge his power. His story symbolizes defiance of divine order and the destructive nature of ego and arrogance. Ultimately, he was defeated by Vishnu's incarnation, Narasimha, in a dramatic act that restored cosmic balance.
