Hindu Yugas

Hindu Yugas are epochs or ages representing different stages of moral and spiritual evolution of humanity. There are four main Yugas: Satya (Krita), Treta, Dvapara, and Kali. Satya is the Golden Age, marked by virtue and righteousness. Treta sees decline, with morals diminishing. Dvapara continues this decline, and Kali Yuga is the current age, characterized by strife, corruption, and spiritual decline. Each Yuga lasts for a specific period, with the cycle repeating over vast cosmic timescales. This cycle illustrates the belief in cyclical time, where humanity's spiritual progress and decline follow these ages.
