Himyar

Himyar was an ancient kingdom located in what is now Yemen, thriving from around 110 BCE to the 6th century CE. It was a prominent center of trade, especially in incense and spices, and played a key role in regional politics and commerce. The Himyarite kingdom was known for its impressive architecture, advanced irrigation, and inscriptions in their language.
