Hi-Lo System
The Hi-Lo System is a betting strategy used in games like blackjack to manage wagers based on the current count of high and low-value cards remaining in the deck. Players track the ratio of high cards (tens, face cards, aces) to low cards (twos through six) and adjust their bets accordingly: higher bets when many high cards are left (favorable for the player) and lower bets when fewer high cards remain. This system aims to maximize winnings during advantageous situations while minimizing losses during less favorable conditions, helping players make informed betting decisions based on the game's card distribution.
