Hertzian Waves

Hertzian waves, also known as radio waves, are a type of electromagnetic radiation used to transmit information through the air. They are produced when electric currents oscillate in antennas, generating waves that travel at the speed of light. These waves can carry signals for radio, television, cell phones, and Wi-Fi, enabling wireless communication. Unlike sound or light you can see, Hertzian waves are invisible and require specialized equipment to generate and detect. They are fundamental to modern wireless technology, allowing information to be sent over long distances without physical connections.
