Herbert Simon (bounded rationality)

Herbert Simon's concept of bounded rationality suggests that, while people aim to make rational decisions, their ability to do so is limited by available information, time, and cognitive resources. Instead of always finding the perfect solution, individuals search for a solution that is good enough, or "satisficing." This reflects the reality that decision-making involves compromises, given our mental and environmental constraints, rather than perfectly optimizing outcomes.
