Herbert Nitsch
Herbert Nitsch is an Austrian freediver known for his exceptional achievements in the sport of breath-hold diving. He holds multiple world records, including the deepest static apnea (holding his breath for over 11 minutes) and the deepest dynamic dive. Nitsch's expertise involves diving to great depths underwater without breathing apparatus, requiring incredible lung capacity, mental control, and physical conditioning. In 2012, he suffered a severe accident during a record attempt, which resulted in significant injuries, but he has since been recognized as a leading figure in freediving, inspiring others with his records and dedication to the sport.
