Henson Associates was the original name of the company founded by Jim Henson, the creator of iconic puppets like Kermit the Frog. It was responsible for producing and licensing Jim Henson's work, including "The Muppet Show" and related projects. The company handled the creative design, puppet development, and distribution of Henson’s puppetry content. Later, it was renamed Henson Productions to better reflect its focus on producing entertainment content. Throughout its history, Henson Associates played a key role in pioneering modern puppetry and family entertainment, culminating in the beloved Muppets and other imaginative creations.
