Henri IV of France

Henri IV of France, also known as Henry of Navarre, was a key ruler in France from 1589 to 1610. He was a member of the Bourbon dynasty and initially a Protestant leader during the turbulent French Wars of Religion. To bring peace, he converted to Catholicism, famously stating, "Paris is well worth a Mass." As king, he focused on rebuilding the country, promoting economic growth, and ensuring religious tolerance with the Edict of Nantes. Henri IV is remembered as a pragmatic and popular monarch who helped stabilize France after years of conflict.
