Henotheism
Henotheism is the belief in and worship of one primary god while acknowledging the existence of other gods. Unlike monotheism, which recognizes only one god, henotheism allows for the veneration of multiple deities, but prioritizes one in devotion. This concept is often found in ancient religions, such as those in Hinduism, where different gods represent various aspects of life and the universe. Followers may practice their faith by focusing on their chosen god while still respecting other divine figures. This approach reflects the complexity of spiritual beliefs and the personal nature of worship.
