Henology

Henology is a philosophical approach that explores the fundamental principles of divine or ultimate reality, often emphasizing the "One" or the singular source behind all existence. Originating from Neoplatonic thought, it examines how this ultimate unity functions as the foundation of everything—ideas, matter, and existence itself. Instead of focusing on specific attributes of God, henology considers the nature of the ultimate principle and how it manifests. It seeks to understand the unity underlying diversity, aiming to comprehend the ultimate source that gives rise to all that exists.
