Henge

A henge is an ancient circular or oval arrangement of large stones or earthworks created by prehistoric peoples, primarily during the Neolithic period. These structures often feature a ditch and bank surrounding the circle and may include internal stones or monuments. Henges are believed to have served ceremonial, religious, or social purposes, such as rituals, gatherings, or astronomical observations. The most famous example is Stonehenge in England.
