Hemodialysis patients

Hemodialysis patients are individuals whose kidneys can no longer effectively remove waste, excess fluids, and toxins from their blood. During treatment, a machine called a dialyzer filters their blood after it is removed from the body through a special access point. This process helps maintain proper fluid and chemical balance, preventing dangerous buildup that could lead to health problems. Patients typically require hemodialysis several times a week, which allows them to manage their kidney failure and maintain their overall health, often with adjustments to diet and medications alongside the treatments.
