Helmholtz Integral Equations are mathematical formulas used in acoustics, electromagnetism, and fluid dynamics to analyze how waves (sound, light, etc.) interact with objects. They relate the behavior of waves inside a volume to their behavior on the surface enclosing that volume. Essentially, they allow us to calculate wave patterns everywhere based on known information on the surface, making complex problems more manageable.
