Heliochronology
Heliochronology is the science of determining the age of the Sun by studying the timing of events in the solar system, especially orbital motions. It relies on understanding how the Sun's rotation and the orbits of planets, moons, and other celestial bodies have evolved over time due to gravitational interactions. By analyzing discrepancies and patterns in these orbital and rotational periods, scientists estimate the Sun’s age, typically around 4.6 billion years, providing insights into the formation and evolution of our solar system.
