Helicopter
A helicopter is a type of aircraft that can take off and land vertically, hover in place, and move in any direction. It achieves this through rotating blades called rotors, which generate lift and thrust when they spin. Unlike airplanes that rely on forward motion to stay airborne, helicopters can remain stationary in the air, making them ideal for tasks like rescue operations, transportation to hard-to-reach areas, and aerial surveillance. Their design allows for precise maneuvering, including hovering, which is impossible with fixed-wing aircraft.
