Heir
An heir is a person who is legally entitled to inherit property, titles, or other assets from someone who has passed away, typically a family member. When someone dies, their belongings, such as money, real estate, or valuable items, are transferred to their heirs according to their wishes outlined in a will or according to the law if no will exists. Heirs can be direct descendants, like children, or other relatives, and they have the responsibility to manage any inherited assets according to the terms set by the deceased.
