Heidelberg Retina Angiography

Heidelberg Retina Angiography, also known as Fluorescein Angiography, is a diagnostic imaging technique used to examine the blood vessels in the retina, the light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye. During the procedure, a special dye called fluorescein is injected into a vein, and a camera takes detailed images of the retina as the dye flows through its blood vessels. This helps eye doctors identify issues like leaks, blockages, or abnormal blood vessel growth, facilitating accurate diagnosis and guiding appropriate treatment for various retinal conditions.
