hearing loops

Hearing loops are a technology designed to improve sound clarity for individuals with hearing aids. They consist of a wire loop installed around a room or area, which transmits audio signals directly to compatible hearing aids or cochlear implants equipped with telecoils (t-coils). When someone speaks into a microphone, the sound is sent through the loop, reducing background noise and echo, allowing the wearer to hear more clearly without needing additional devices. This system creates a direct, private connection between the sound source and the listener, enhancing hearing comfort in public spaces like theatres, churches, and conference rooms.
