He Jin

He Jin was a prominent Chinese politician during the late Eastern Han Dynasty, serving as a powerful regent and minister. He effectively managed imperial affairs and aligned with military generals to stabilize the government. His leadership was marked by efforts to suppress rebellious factions, but internal conflicts and power struggles among warlords led to his downfall. In 189 CE, he was assassinated by a conspiracy involving palace officials and military leaders, an event that precipitated the decline of the Han Dynasty and fueled the chaos leading to the Three Kingdoms period.
