He-3 (Helium-3)

Helium-3 (^3He) is a rare isotope of helium, consisting of two protons and one neutron. It is stable and non-radioactive. Helium-3 is valuable for scientific research, especially in studying fundamental particles and phenomena like quantum mechanics, as well as in cryogenics for cooling extremely low-temperature systems. It also has potential use in future nuclear fusion reactors because it can produce energy with fewer radioactive byproducts compared to traditional fuels. Naturally scarce on Earth, Helium-3 can be found in trace amounts and is also believed to be deposited on the Moon’s surface by the solar wind, making it of interest for space exploration and energy development.
